The existing exp(-i k_nu z) scalar contact phase is the spatial part of the declared outgoing-lepton exp(+i q_mu x^mu) mode in metric (+---); reversing only that spatial phase leaves the scalar overlap even and reverses its envelope-gradient momentum.
